Playa Honda isn’t a resort in Lanzarote, but it is a large town, with a fabulous beach, excellent shopping and also has a fabulous beach.

For many visitors Guatiza is a small rural village where the Jardin de Cactus visitor centre is located. The original village was actually called Santa Margarita and situated up on the hill.

The Playa Blanca promenade walk is a long one, but there’s plenty to see and do (and eat and drink!) on the way from the lighthouse to the marina.

The GR131 is the pathway that extends along the whole length of the island and will take you to some fabulous parts of Lanzarote.
