Lanzarote’s aeronautical museum is situated in what was once the airport’s main terminal building and is well worth a visit.

Playa Honda isn’t a resort in Lanzarote, but it is a large town, with a fabulous beach, excellent shopping and also has a fabulous beach.
For many visitors Guatiza is a small rural village where the Jardin de Cactus visitor centre is located. The original village was actually called Santa Margarita and situated up on the hill.
The Playa Blanca promenade walk is a long one, but there’s plenty to see and do (and eat and drink!) on the way from the lighthouse to the marina.
