Playa Honda isn’t a resort in Lanzarote, but it is a large town, with a fabulous beach, excellent shopping and also has a fabulous beach.
The Castillo San José is a castle on Arrecife’s waterfront, home to the International Art Museum and restaurant Qué-Muac.
The village of La Santa is famous for Club la Santa – the sports mecca. But it’s much more than that – a fishing port, lagoons and great restaurants!
Arrecife has two castles, Castillo San Gabriel is the one situated right in the centre of town on the end of the main shopping street Leon.
Punta Mujeres is the little fishing village in the north of Lanzarote – literally the point at which women waited for their fishermen to come home.
