We love a Sunday brunch. We get up a little later than usual, arrive mid morning for a lovely meal, with some Cava, eat enough to last us for the day, and then chill out on the closest beach.

This isn’t an exhaustive list, but these are our favourite places for Sunday Brunch in Lanzarote:

Puerto del Carmen

Fresh at Café la Ola

Fresh is right next door to Cafe la Ola, and features a larger balcony, with views right over the ocean. They serve their brunch on both Saturday and Sunday, and they have an unlimited drinks option. This one offers a classic all you can eat, buffet style brunch, with loads of pastries, meats and cheeses, and hot dishes cooked to order.

At Fresh, you’re a two minute stroll onto the beach to sleep it off!

DER

DER is in the old town of Puerto del Carmen, not far from the Biosfera Shopping Centre. Their speciality if their coffee, which is roasted and ground on the premises. This isn’t buffet style, and everything is made to order.

Playa Blanca

Treat Café Bar

We have tried Treat for brunch yet, although we’ve had lunch there a couple of times and really enjoyed. We’ve also heard good things about their Sunday brunch, which is made to order from their menu.

Treat are located in Punta Limones in Playa Blanca, next door to Popeyes.

Costa Teguise

Café BonBon

BonBon describes itself as a “Street café” and all the tables are outside. The brunch here is all prepared to order, and there are some interesting and unusual choices, as well as the more usual stacks of pancakes with various toppings.

BonBon are on the main avenida Islas Canarias, and almost opposite Las Cucharas shopping centre and the beach.
