Summer Night Dinners – Cenas de una Noche de Verano

“Cenas de una Noche de Verano” is a yearly gastronomic initiative in Lanzarote that foodies look forward to.  During the months of July, August and September, 16 different renowned chefs -mainly from Lanzarote but also from Tenerife, La Palma and mainland Spain- will offer their original and unique menus, with special emphasis on Kilometer 0 produce, at Chiringuito Tropical on the Promenade in Playa Blanca, next to the Hotel Royal Mónica.
July
Monday 14th: João Faraco from Coentro in Puerto Calero.
Wednesday 23rd: Eva Millán, Master Chef sub champion, who has worked in prestigious restaurants in Mexico, Cuba, Houston and Spain.
Friday 25th: Paco Marín, kitchen chef with Paco Roncero in NH Hotels.
Monday 28th: Santi Falcón from César in Lanzarote.
Wednesday 30th: Rubén Cuesta from Kamezí in Playa Blanca, with one Michelin star.
August
Monday 4th: Víctor Valverde from Palacio Ico in Teguise, with one Sol  from the Guía Repsol.
Saturday 9th: Alberto Marín, from Master Chef.
Monday 11th:  Yeray Gil from Primario Gastrobar in Playa Blanca.
Wednesday 13th: expert pastry chef Adelia Ramírez
Monday 18th: Pedro Hernández from Castillo de El Duende del Fuego in Los Llanos de Aridane, La Palma.
Wednesday 20th:  José Nieves Medina who will bring to live the book “Cocina Tradicional de Lanzarote” by his dad, Fefo Nieves.
Saturday 23rd: host Luis Benito from Chiringuito Tropical, Playa Blanca with one Solete from the Guía Repsol.
Monday 25th: Pedro Nel from Etéreo in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, two Soles from the Guía Repsol.
Wednesday 27th: Gonzalo Calzadilla –co-creator of the Dinners- who got a Sol from the Guía Repsol for the Isla de Lobos Restaurant, Hotel Princesa Yaiza in Playa Blanca, now in a different line.
September
Saturday 6th: Germán Blanco from Brisa Marina in Playa Blanca.
Date to be confirmed: Diego Blanco from Mesón El Pincelín in Almansa (mainland Spain), most likely to be in August.The menus each chef creates tend to be disclosed closer to the day of their dinner, often at short notice. Each menu has a price of €63 per person, excluding the drinks .
