There is an annual craft fair in Mancha Blanca, which coincides with the Los Dolores pilgrimage each year in September. Over a hundred artisans from Lanzarote and the other Canarian islands bring their wears to sell, and it’s well worth a visit.
In addition to the stalls, there are various activities each day to watch and enjoy.

The 36th edition of the Lanzarote’s Craft Fair in Mancha Blanca from Wednesday 10th to Monday 15th of September, 2024 with the following opening hours:

On this year’s edition, the element of the rich ethnographic heritage of Lanzarote and La Graciosa featured on the Fair’s poster is the “soletas”. This humble but sturdy footwear made from rubber and other readily available materials, which shaped the lives of many families. Beyond their practical function, they are a symbol of ingenuity, resilience and the collective memory of the islands.
