This is the programme of Christmas, New Year and Kings events for the municipality of Yaiza 2020 / 2021 which includes the holiday resort of Playa Blanca and the town of Uga:
Thursday 10th December
10h Inauguration of the Nativity Scence next to the Plaza de los Remedios.
19h Performance of the Parranda Janubio at Casa de la Cultura Benito Pérez Armas.
Friday 11th December
20h Performace ofthe Rancho de Pascuas de Yaiza at Casa de la Cultura Benito Pérez Armas.
Saturday 12th December
11h Christmas Story-telling with Vicki Dos santos and Aarón Marqués at Casa de la Cultura Benito Pérez Armas.
Thursday 17th December
19h Performace of the Rancho de Pascuas de Yaiza at Casa de la Cultura Benito Pérez Armas.
Saturday 19th December
11h Christmas Story-telling with Cristina Temprano at Casa de la Cultura Benito Pérez Armas.
Sunday 20th December
12h Family show: “Hechizo de Navidad” (which means “Christmas Spell”) by the companyKomba Producciones at Casa de la Cultura Benito Pérez Armas.
Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd January from 9h to 13h and 16h to 20h.
3D Painting Workshop for children aged 7 to 14 years old at Casa de la Cultura Benito Pérez Armas.

Santa Claus’ Visit on Calle Limones
Saturday 23th December
18:30h & 21h Show: “Fantástico” by Los Cantadores which includes great Disney classics. A maximum of three invitations can be collected upon presentation of ID on Monday the 21st and Wednesday the 23th of December from 10h to 13h and on Tuesday the 22nd from 10h to 13h and 17th to 19h at Casa de la Cultura Benito Pérez Armas.
There is also Christmas themed workshops for children from Monday the 10th to the Wednesday 30th of December in the different towns and villages.
Please check the poster for each workshop’s location, day & time. Registration is mandatory and it can be done by calling +34 928 836 214 Monday to Friday from 9h to 13h.
And last, but by no means least, The Three Kings from Orient will visit the towns in the municipality on the 5th of January, 2021.
They will be departing from Playa Blanca around at 10h from Faro de Pechiguera to Las Coloradas and from La Geria to the rest of the towns.
There isn’t more information available of the approximate times they will be passing each town at the moment, so, please children (big and small!), do stay vigilant to see if you can spot them on their travels!
