The team at Wine Tours Lanzarote have update us all on what’s been going on in the vineyards during the month of September:
- It’s the late harvest now, with the Moscatel grapes coming in after sweetening on the vines
- We’ve got the final numbers on the size of the harvest and it was better than expected
- Alfredo has retired from his “other” job to become a full time wine maker
And the wine of the month this month is one we haven’t tried yet from Bodega Vulcano, which is aged in oak, and on the lees. Sounds intriguing!
