Ruta De La Tapa – Tias

Tias

The Commerce Department from the Townhall of Tías has launched the 1st Canarian Tapas Route to celebrate Canarian Day, called Ruta de la Tapa. It will take place in Tías, between the 21st and the 30th of May.

Ruta de la tapa

There are seven establishments taking place, offering a tapa for €3.50. As usual, the price -includes a drink: either a beer (small, presumably), a soft drink, a glass of wine or water.

Something new is that the tapa offered can be either sweet or savoury, which is something new to me, I have never heard of sweet tapas. Some of the names of the tapas are more self-explanatory than others, but this is just part of the fun as long as you like to be surprised!

These are the eight participating establishments, all of them in the Town of Tías, in alphabetical order:

Bar Cafetería No Madrugues: Sancocho Canario (Canarian Stew)
Calle La Luchada, 37

Cafetería Crepería La Rotonda: Crepe Conejero (Lanzarotean Pancake)
