“Enyesque” is a small portion of food that is served to accompany drinks. So basically, it’s Canarian for “tapas”.
This is the first edition of Teguise’s Ruta de la Tapa and it will take place in the old capital of the island from the 17th to the 23rd of December, 2018.
These are the participating restaurants:
Acatife in Plaza la Constitución, 4
Tapa: Courgette cake with cheese and oregano.
Hours for the tapa: from 19h to 23h. Closed on Sunday afternoon and Monday.
Saturday 22nd December at 19h. Music with Pepe Artigas on sax.
El Chiringuito in Calle Matrimonio Duque Abreut, 4
Tapa: Black pork with a reduction of red wine and figs.
Hours of the tapa: from 19h to 23h.
Friday 21st December at 19h, music with Boris Silva on guitar.
Loris in Plaza Clavijo y Fajardo, 1
Tapa: Mini potato burger.
Hours for the tapa: every day from 10h to 16h.
Sunday 23rd December at 13h, music with Mayelín, guitar and voice.
Queso Project in Calle Nueva, 4
Tapa: Creamy cheese with grapes Zalema de Huelva.
Hours for the tapa: from Wednesday to Sunday from 11h to 16h and Thursday and Friday from 19:30h to 23h.
Thursday 20th December, music with Steve Amis, guitar and voice.
La Palmera in Calle Cruz, 4
Tapa: Bread, love and fantasy, a Bolognese tapa with a twist.
Hours for the tapa: Tuesday to Saturday from 12h to 15h and 18h to 21h. Closed on Monday.
El Patio Crêperie in Calle Las Flores, 6
Tapa: Wine flavoured local stew, a seitan choice.
Hours for the tapa: from 11h to 19h. Closed on Monday.
Saturday 22nd December at 14h, music with Jorge Cañas, guitar and voice. On Sunday from 14h.
El Recoveco in Calle Maciot de Bethencourt, 2
Tapa: From the sea to the heart, a fish tapa undoubtedly!
Hours for the tapa: every day from 9h to 23:30h.
On the 20th and the 21st from 20h there will be a concert by Titín Carvajal, nephew of Chiquetete with Antonio de la Rosa and Rafael Naldonado.
Taberna Barbazul in Calle Clavijo y Fajardo, 2
Tapa: Lentils with chorizo and cilantro.
Hours for the tapa: Thrusday to Saturday from 11h to 15h; Sunday from 10h to 20h. Closed Monday to Wednesday.
Sunday 23rd December from 15:30 to 18:30h, music with Duo Tana y Gopar.
Bar Cafetería La Tahona in Calle Santo Domingo, 3
Tapa: Delicacy of sea and sweet potato on red soil, another fish creation.
Hours for the tapa: every day from 19:30h to 22:30h, except on Sunday.
Wednesday 19th December at 19h, music with Gianluca Greco, guitar and voice.
El Zaguán in Calle León y Castillo, 6
Tapa: Almogrote parcel with guayaba and rocket.
Hours for the tapa: from 14h to 22h. Closed on Monday.
Music on Sunday from 18h.
La Taza de Café in Calle Garajonay, 32
Tapa: Goat meat on a bed of sweet potato.
Hours for the tapa: from 8h to 16h. Closed on Saturday.

We call these sort of events “Tapas crawls, ” because they are a bit like a pub crawl, but with food!
