Rancho Texas is Lanzarote’s theme park. It’s located on the outskirts of Puerto del Carmen and can provide a full day out, with collection and drop off from all of the resorts on the island.
Animal Park
It’s an animal park with dozens of unusual and interesting birds likes eagles, hawks and owls, in the mammal section there are American bison, sea lions, goats, donkeys, deer racoons, armadillos and white tigers. In the reptile section you’ll find alligators, tortoises, snakes and iguanas. All the animals have plenty of space and you can get up close to observe them.
Rides And Fun
There are pony rides, a “Gold mine” to visit, and Indian lagoon to canoe on and a tipi to explore.
Bird Of Prey Show
The park is famous for its bird show, which runs three times a day in summer and twice a day in winter. Its amazing to watch eagles, falcons and vultures flying and capturing prey.
Pool And Splash Zone
There are two large pools to cool off in and the kids will enjoy the water falls.
Eating And Drinking
There’s a fast food restaurant, The Wildhorse Saloon, and a large snack bar around the main swimming pool.
The park is open every day, tickets cost €30 per adult and €22 per child (2-14 years).
