These are the public holidays in Lanzarote. These are all-island holidays, in addition to these, there are “local” holidays by municipality, for example, Fiesta de San Juan. In Spanish, this is known as the “Calendario Laboral.”

January 6th – Holiday for Three Kings
March / April – Easter Thursday
March / April – Easter Friday
(Note we don’t have an Easter Monday here)
May 1st – Day of the worker
May 30th – Canarian Day
August 15th – Day of the assumption
September 16th – Fiesta Los Dolores
October 12th – National day of Spain
November 1st – All Saints Day
December 6th – Constitution day of Spain
December 25th – Christmas Day
