After a few years of absense, Lanzarote’s Cheese and Goat Fair is back, coinciding with Canarian Day celebrations.
It will take place on the 30th to the 31st of May, 2026 at Plaza de la Alameda in Yaiza, with a couple of acts the previous evening to get into the swing of things.
There will be areas for parking, like the field next to Plaza de los Remedios to allow for quick and safe access to the Fair.
The Fair’s aim is to raise awareness and promote the island’s primary sector, showcasing the sector’s advances and innovations, and to promote the consumption of cheese.
Lanzarote’s cheese is of excellent quality, being recognised with regional, national and international awards.
These island’s cheesemakers have confirmed their attendance: Finca de Uga and Quesería Rubicón, both from Yaiza, Quesería El Faro from Teguise and Quesería Flor de Luz from San Bartolomé.
There will also be children’s activities, show cooking, tapas, tastings and music. Please, check the full programme below:
