At Lanzarote Information, our mission, since we started in 2008, has been to help Lanzarote Visitors have the best possible holiday.
We update the site several times a day with all the latest news, holiday offers, what’s on information and regular in-depth posts about aspects of the island.
Using the site
You’re in good company! Around 3 million people visit Lanzarote Information each year!
We add new information daily and are one of the best resources in the world for any information about Lanzarote.
You’ll see menu options at the top of the page, but the best way to find what you’re looking for is to use our search function (click the magnifying glass) on the menu bar.
As well as being a free information resource for anyone to use, we also offer a number of products and services, including flights and accommodation booking, car hire, excursion booking and sales of our own books and guides. Our style of business is personal, transparent and passionate about Lanzarote. We really care that everything we do offers good value and great service and reflects well on the island.
The best way to stay in touch with all our new stuff is to register for our weekly newsletter updates, and you can do that in the form over to the right of every page, and as a bonus you’ll also get a free 12 day Spanish course!

Julie Cliffe-Jones Mike Cliffe-Jones
Our main writers are Jules and Miguel, better known as Julie and Mike, much to the disappointment of some female readers who had hoped Miguel was a doe eyed Canarian hunk!
Julie and Mike are Brits who have lived on the island for closing in on two decades and who get involved in as much of Lanzarote life as they can. Having brought up two children on the island, and run several businesses, they are in a good position to help others with their in depth knowledge about Lanzarote and life here.
They are passionate and knowledgable about Lanzarote, and work hard to help promote the island all over the world.
They believe in making the most of living in paradise, and you’ll find them at events and attractions all over the island, all the time! They are both triathletes, avid readers and they love good food and great company.
Their dream was always to travel the world, and they are realising that now, using Lanzarote as their base, and their other business CamelTravel, a travel agency focussed on providing ATOL protected holidays in the Canary Islands, as well as worldwide travel.

Norman and his wife, Dee, have been living on the island for three years having been holiday makers here for fifteen years beforehand. In Rochdale in the UK Norman was a writer, poet and radio presenter covering community arts and High Art. He is thrilled by the vibrancy of that scene in Lanzarote and tries to capture that in his articles.
