These are the public holidays in Lanzarote. These are all-island holidays, in addition to these, there are “local” holidays by municipality, for example, Fiesta de San Juan. In Spanish, this is known as the “Calendario Laboral.”
Lanzarote holidays for 2025:
January 1: New Year.
January 6: Three Kings Day.
April 17 and 18: Good Thursday and Good Friday.
May 1: Labor Day.
May 30: Canary Islands Day.
August 15: Assumption of the Virgin.
November 1: All Saints.
December 6: Constitution Day.
December 8: Immaculate Conception.
September 15: Our Lady of the Volcanoes.
December 25: Nativity of the Lord.
(Note that we don’t have “Boxing day” here.)
