The 8th island Challenge, Desafio 8ª Isla, takes place in November on the island of La Graciosa, The Canary Islands 8th island.
It’s basically two events in one – a triathlon, or a trail run, or both!
Triathlon
The triathlon event takes place on the first day and consists of an ocean swim, an 20KM MTB ride and a 5KM run.
Competitors can call it a day there, or stay over for the trail run event the next day.
Trail Run
There are three routes for the trail run, held on day two – 8KM, 20KM and 31KM.

2021
The event will be held this year on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st November.
