Cook in Lanzarote have collaborated with the language school CoCo Lingua to combine Spanish lessons with gastronomy experiences.
This is a 40 hour course, spread over 2 weeks so it’s open to both visitors on holiday and for residents living in Lanzarote.
The Spanish lessons with CoCo Lingua are oriented to gastronomy vocabulary which will be complimented by practical cooking lessons at Cook in Lanzarote once a week, so students can practice what they’ve been learning.
CoCo Lingua are based in Yaiza, and Cook Lanzarote in Uga, which are neighbouring villages.
The first course is starting on the 18th of September 2017 and a second course on the 2nd October 2017.
Places are limited to 6 students and the price is €282.
The recipes that students will be cooking with Cook in Lanzarote are classical Spanish and typical Canarian ones such as: Caldo de millo (Canarian corn soup), garlic shrimps, almogrote (cheese mojo sauce), gofio mousse, fish croquetas, fried calamari rings etc.
