Catlanza is one of the island’s most popular day trips, and regular visitors often book a sailing every time they come to Lanzarote. They have two types of sailing – an adults only option, for the perfect chillout, and a kids option where families can have the time of their lives sailing The Atlantic.
The 75 foot catamaran Catlanza sails twice daily in summer and once a day in the winter months from the fabulous marina at Puerto Calero, offering both family sailing and adult only trips. She sails round to the beaches of Papagayo and anchors off-shore where lunch is served, drinks are on tap, and everyone can have a go on a Jet Ski or borrow snorkelling equipment and check out the sea life. There is even a free transfer from your resort in an air conditioned coach included in the price, if you prefer not to make your own way to Puerto Calero.
Catlanza Family Sailing Days (Gold Sailings)
On the family sailing days, the crew work hard to make sure the kids have the best day of their holidays.
The Gold Sailing includes transfers from resort, lunch, all drinks, a Jet Ski ride and the use of snorkelling equipment. It’s priced at €59 for adults and €39 for children from 2-12 years old.
Catlanza Adults Only Sailing Days (Platinum Cruise)
The Platinum Cruise if for adults only and you’ll find a lovely chilled vibe aboard, with the crew looking after your every need. Choose to make it the kind of day you want, from simply chilling on the netting, to swimming ashore and riding the Jet Ski.
The Platinum Sailing includes transfers from resort, lunch, all drinks, a Jet Ski ride and the use of snorkelling equipment. It’s priced at €64 per person.
Catlanza is also available for wedding parties and vow renewals – what a wonderful way to celebrate your special day!
Currently, due to Covid restrictions, only 50% of the normal number of passengers are going aboard, which means an even more special experience. Face masks and snorkels are provided for every passenger, and disinfected between sailings. The Jet Ski is not in use, but kayaks are, and an additional light snack is served en route so you won’t be hungry for a swim at Papaygayo before lunch is served.
