Los Aljibes produce a craft beer made in Lanzarote which can be tasted at their original location in Tahiche, as well as their new bar in Puerto del Carmen.
The company currently produce three beers, although Oktoberfest is sold out for the time being. We popped in recently to try a taste.
Agüita is the darker beer on the left, a smooth American Pale Ale (APA) with hints of citrus and 4.8% alcohol, this was Miguel’s favourite from the two. Helles is a larger and the lighter beer on the right, also 4.8% alcohol, this was easy to drink as the sun was setting on the strip! The Oktoberfest when available is a Märzen beer with 4.6% alcohol.
You can try a taste of both beers for €1, a small 33cl is priced at €3 and a large 56cl €4.
We were planning to try their homemade burgers that evening, however the limited menu didn’t cater for our vegetarian friends, so we’ll have to pop back for a beer and burger another time.
You can find Los Aljibes on the front of Puerto del Carmen, at the San Antonio Hotel end of the Avenida de Las Playas.
