The Townhalls of Arrecife, San Bartolomé and Tías have launched programmes to encourage shopping locally and promote the businneses on their municipalities:

1) “You are in good hands” campaign

Arrecife’s Outdoor Commercial Area has a bunch of activities for adults and children planned on Friday 7th of August in afternoon and Saturday 8th in the morning plus a 10 prizes draw to encourage people to share their page on social media.

2) AOL-19 (Arrecife on line Covid 19)

Arrecife’s Towhall launched last month the initiative “AOL-19” (Arrecife On Line Covid 19), an online directory of businesses and services, not only the Arrecife’s Outdoor Commercial Area but across the whole city.

San Bartolomé

San Bartolomé’s Townhall campaign it’s called “Verano Loco”, meaning crazy summer. It started back on the 20th of July and it lasts until the 16th of August.

For every €10 spent in the participating establishments, you get a ticket for the draw of 8 vouchers of €150 to be spend in three of the establishments (€50 to be spend on each shop).

The draw will take place on the Tuesday 18th of August and the winners need to collect their vouchers at the establishment where they shopped.

Tías’ Townhall is proposing three different ways to promote local businesses:

1) “Yo compro en Tías”

The campaign “I buy in Tías” with the slogan “For quality, proximity and trust… and because they offer everything” for every purchase over €20 and during the whole month of August in the participating establishments, you will be in the chance to win 4 vouchers of €300.

The draw will take place on the 8t of September at 11h. at the Concejalía de Comercio del
Ayuntamiento de Tías, on Calle Libertad, 50 in Tías.

The vouchers can be used until the 30th of October, 2020 in any of the participating establishments.

2) #MúeveteporTías

The townhall has also published a comprehensive map and list of the businesses in Tías, whether they are part of the previous campaign or not, to inform and encourange people to “move around Tías” and get to know what it has to offer.

3) Online Canarian Directory

Finally, the Townhall is also offering the opportunity to the businesses of the municipality to be included on the Online Canarian Directory of Businesses in a quest to get them promoted as well.
