Construction Back On At Hotel Fariones
Construction has restarted on the refurbishment of the hotel after the Patrimonio Department lifted a stop order on the work being done on the new swimming pool and gardens. They ruled that the work being done does not alter or affect the protected gardens. Part of the refurbishment will include a path through the hotel gardens, giving much better access to the beach to people who are not staying at the hotel. The owners of the hotel criticised the delay to the work caused by the stop order, which they say will delay completion of the work by several months. The Fariones will re-open as a five star hotel.
