Deirdre Macfarlane-Archer, founder and leader of the group for the past 15 years, said “A fantastic result and how satisfying. It has all been so worthwhile and so rewarding”.
Having such a successful season was a high point for Deirdre whose last year this was as leader of Christmas Voices. She has handed over the reins to Alan Taylor and Tim Macer. They have been visiting members of the choir for the last 3 years but have recently taken up permanent residence on the Island.
Deirdre will continue to be an active member of the group.
The choir exists solely to give their annual performances of Christmas Carols for which they begin rehearsals in November. If you will be on the Island from November through to Christmas and would like to sing with the group please get in touch with Deirdre at firstname.lastname@example.org.
