Karting in Lanzarote is something the whole family will enjoy! The best track on the island is the one at San Bartolomé, where they have single and twin engine karts, kiddie karts and even twin seater karts. We love the track because it offers an interesting challenge. It’s based on a hillside, and it has some fantastic corners, including a hairpin, which reward driving skill.
Even those who don’t want to racfe can enjoy a visit to the track – there’s a fully licensed bar there, they do snacks and the view down to Arrecife and Puerto del Carmen is stunning.
Best of all, they offer free transport from your hotel to the track and back in their air conditioned mini buses.
You can pre-book transport online or by telephone here: Book Karting.
But if you prefer to make your own way there, just turn up – they are open during daylight hours, seven days a week, 365 days per year!
Adults can drive single or twin engined Grand Prix karts, and there are even double karts so the youngest children can enjoy a race driven by mum or dad.
The junior karts can be driven by children 1.20 metres tall, and the team will give them full instruction. The standard karts are 200CC, and the super fast twin engine karts are 320CC.
Groups of 6 or more can enjoy a Grand Prix of their own, with heats and a semi-final and final for those with the most points, followed by a podium ceremony.
