We’ve personally been on this fishing excursion and it’s a great family trip, not just for those interested in fishing, as spectators can also go at a reduced price.
If you’ve always fancied fishing but not tried it, the experienced crew are on hand to help set up your rods, bait them and release your fish off the line, when you catch one.
Trolling is with the rods trailing in the water when the boat is sailing, bottom fishing is when the boat is anchored.
Price: The price is €75 per fishermen and €50 per spectator.
Duration: 4-5 hours fishing trip
Start Time: 09:00
Available: 7 days a week
Included: All fishing equipment, return transfer from the nearest bus stop to your hotel with a licensed transport company, snacks and beverages, mandatory accident and liability insurance.
Transfers: Return transfer from the nearest bus stop to your hotel with a licensed transport company. Tell us where you are staying to inform you of the time and the collection point nearest your hotel for the day of the tour (Pick-ups from Costa Teguise, Arrecife, Puerto del Carmen, Puerto Calero and Playa Blanca).
Recommendation: We recommend you bring warm clothing or impermeable jacket to counteract the wind or if we get wet during winter. In summer do not forget a cap and sunscreen.
Please Note: Children are very welcome on board, however due to the time spent out at sea, it’s not generally recommended for those under 6 years old.
You will start the day releasing specific rods for trolling with the boat moving. Later you will anchor off the coast and the fishermen will have all the equipment to begin bottom fishing. These are the type of fish generally caught during this experience…..
Trolling: Bonito, barracuda, wahoo, dorado and tuna.
Bottom fishing: porgy, groupers, angelfish, yellowtail and bowfish.
Please note that Big Game Fishing is not usually available from December through to the end of March.
