Festival Enogastronómico Saborea Lanzarote

The date has been confirmed for this event in 2023 – 25th and 26th November 2023.

The biggest gastronomic event of Lanzarote is taking place on the 25th and 26th of November, 2023 in the old capital of the island, Teguise.

On Saturday the opening hours are from 10:30h to 22:00h and on Sunday from 10:30h to 16:00h.

Teguise can be reached by public transport or with your own vehicle.

Intercitybus will reinforce the service of several bus lines to facilitate public transport from different points of the island, favouring a more sustainable mobility. You can consult lines and timetables on their website. If you decide to drive, parking areas will be set up in the vicinity of the venues to make it easier for users to park close by easily and free of charge.

This 10th edition of the Festival aims to be the biggest and most ambitious edition yet.  The Festival is organised in different areas as follows:
“Aula del gusto” where the masterclasses will take place
“Aula Saborea Lanzaraote” where the workshops will take place
“Aula Chinijo Chef” will hold  the adcitivities for children aged between 7 to 12 years old
“Mercado y Casa del Producto Canario” at Museo del Timple that will showcase local & Canarian produce with different activities planned at
“Túnel del vino y el quero”, “Talleres de producto” and “Cantina” for all kinds of samplings and tastings
“Área Saboreando Canarias” where all 8 Canarian Islands will have their representation and last but not least
“Área Saboreando España” where different mainland cities will showcase their gastronomy: A Coruña, Ciudad real, Cullera, Pamplona and Sevile among others

You can book the masterclasses and workshops at the link above. Places are extremely limited for each and are filling up fast. As far as we can tell, these will be carried out in Spanish.

Produce from about 100 different stalls will be available and they are divided into these six categories:
Restaurants
Gastronomic Hotels
Vegan Gastronomy
Cheesemakers
Wineries
Producers and Sweet Food

The system is the usual: you buy tokens in advance, either paying by cash or credit card, and then exchange them for the food and drink at each stall, with each portion costing between €1 and €3.

Also, there will be live music! On Saturday 25th, the “Chinijo Fest” will take place with the performances of these bands and artists:
From 10h to 12h: Victor Magán, JuanFran, Alda, Czeeta and La suerte de mi vida,
From 21:30h to 24h: La la love you and Graduado Escolar
On Sunday, it’ll be Los Lola turn to provide the entertainment from 15:30h to 19h:.
