Voices https://www.facebook.com/voiceslanzarote/ is a choir of some twenty singers living on the island of Lanzarote. The works they sing are mostly in English but in the choir there are people originate from Britain, Ireland, mainland Spain, Switzerland and, they are very pleases to say, some native to Lanzarote.
Every year, they perform in several venues around the island a selection of Christmas choral works presented together with traditional carols for everyone to join in singing.
Their concerts serve two purposes: to celebrate the tradition of English language carol singing in Lanzarote, and also, to raise money for “Calor y Café”, a hard-working local charity on the island that provides a lifeline to homeless people and those suffering from drug dependency.
Last year, Voices’ concerts raised some €1,700 for this charity! With your help, they would love to do the same or even better this year. Please give generously when you leave, after enjoying their performances.
