Under the title of A Summer Night’s Dinners, “Cenas de una noche de verano”, Luis Benito, the man behind the Chiringuito Tropical in Playa Blanca, presents the third edition of what’s fast becoming an haute cuisine date in the summer calendar not to be missed.
On this occasion there will be eleven exclusive menus prepared by nine different chefs that will be served at 21h on eleven different nights throughout the summer, starting at the end of July all the way to September.
One of the novelties in 2021’s edition is the feminine element as two women join the list of renowned chefs that will participate, which includes both chefs from restaurants the island – with Playa Blanca establishments featured heavily – and mainland Spain.
This is the list of chefs and the dates they’ll be serving their exclusive menus:
22nd July – Yeral Gil from Primario Gastrobar in Playa Blanca
23rd July & 6th August – Gonzalo Calzadilla , who holds a Sol Repsol, from Isla de Lobos in Playa Blanca
30th July – Dailos Perdomo from Liken in Playa Blanca
8th (*) & 15th August – Joao Faraco from Coentro in Playa Blanca, recommended in the prestigious Repsol Guide
13th August – Diego Blanco from Mesón de Pincelín in Almansa (Albacete), also recommended in the Repsol Guide
20th August – Rubén Darío Rivera from Citurna in Playa Blanca
27th August – Isabel Calahorra from El Marinero y la Muchacha in Arrieta
29th August – Carmen Santiago from Atípico
And the last night will take place in September (exact date yet to be confirmed) – Germán Blanco from La Cascada in Puerto del Carmen.

Chiringuito Tropicall is located on the Paseo Marítimo, next to the Hotel Royal Mónica.
